My name is Christopher Wolk. I come from Poland, from a historic Polish city in Lower Silesia, Swidnica. After graduating from high school I moved to Warsaw, where I graduated at the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology with a masters degree in engineering. 

During my study period I also attended numerous training courses and obtained professional certificates from various companies on the basis of knowledge and skills gained from my university. 

While my main study profile at the university was Multimedia, my second passion is IT networks. It is because of IT networks that I chose to study information technology in the first place. By choosing Multimedia I wanted to learn something new, because I was already very familiar with IT networks long before starting my university education. The first network I built was a small housing estate network, which consisted of 15 computers connected concentrically. It was based on a server running Slackware Linux system. It is worth mentioning that at that time I was just in elementary school and the Internet in Poland was only just getting started. Our system, at the beginning based on the modem technology, it was the first in the city. 

In order to formally document my knowledge, I obtained additional professional certificates, starting from Windows 2003. I continued to prepare for other certificate exams, single-handedly and by participating in various specialist courses, to further improve my skills. Now I have several titles from Microsoft, Apple and Adobe. 

I love what I do and therefore, outside of my regular work, I also accept work orders and commissions as a freelancer. Occasionally, I create new network structures and take responsibility for their maintenance and administration. In addition, I gladly share my knowledge by leading computer courses and training sessions, both locally and out of town. I think that it is in the area of teaching that I have found my calling and I like doing it most of all. My students always come back to me. 

Information technology is constantly evolving and I remain up to date with the latest trends and developments. I continue to learn, because I'm passionate about it. This is particularly evident in the fact that I am an editor of a non-profit service IN4.pl and continuously publish new articles and tutorials that can be used by everyone. Since 2009 I have been working as a trainer in the company ElitePC. As mentioned above I'm also an editor of the technology portal IN4.pl. I specialize in operating systems, cloud computing services, and testing of mobile equipment. I would also like to mention that I hold the Apple Certified System Administrator 10.6 certificate, which, as I write this, is held only by one other person in the country.
